Dr. Wongsuwan completed his doctor of medicine
degree at Prince of Songkhla University, Songkhla, Thailand, in 1986. He
spent the next four years as an Orthopedic Surgery Fellow in Bangkok and
Songkhla, Thailand. In 1990, Dr. Wongsuwan moved to Modesto, California,
and worked as an orthopedic surgical assistant until 1993. He then
completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Meharry Medical College in
Nashville, Tennessee, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at
Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Wongsuwan continued his
training at Hahnemann University Hospital, completing a Cardiology
Fellowship in June 2000. He is Board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology and
Echocardiography. He and his wife live in Walla Walla. Dr. Wong
enjoys tennis, skiing, golf, swimming, photography, guitar, and traveling.
